INSTITUTE OF LIVER & BILIARY SCIENCES, ILBS, an Institute of excellence in the field of liver and biliary diseases is being set up by Govt. of  NCT of Delhi as an autonomous society. Phase 1 of the institute, which includes the hospital, is nearing completion and it is likely to be operational by October 2008. ILBS will amalgamate the academic expertise of the Universities and managerial skills of the corporate world by inviting the top professional in the world to join and work.
