Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, ASRB, Invites applications from the desirous eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the following scientific senior level posts of the ICAR and its institutes. post : Director, Assistant Director General, Project Director, Head of Division

1. Director :
No of post : 04 posts
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 30.08.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 10000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : : (i) A doctoral degree in any branch / discipline of Veterinary Science / Animal Science including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent Scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Principal Scientist.

2. Assistant Director General/ Director/ Project Director :
No of post : 15 posts
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 30.08.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- per month + GP of Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in Soil Science Agricultural Physics / Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Water Management including relevant basic sciences. (ii) At least 5 years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position.

3. Head of Division/ Equivalent :
No of post : 14 posts
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 30.08.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- per month + GP of Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in any branch of
Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences. (ii) At least 02 years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position.
