Visvesvaraya Technological University, VTU, Applications are invited in 05 sets in the prescribed format from the eligible Indian citizens for the following Teaching Posts in VTU’s Constituent College, UBDTCE, Davanagere. The eligible Indian Nationals / Origins who are residing abroad may also apply. post : Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor.

1. Professor :
No of post : 12 posts
Age Limit : Shall be 50 years and relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years in exceptional cases or as per the State Government norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Experience – Minimum of 10 years Teaching / Research/ Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 20 posts
Age Limit : Shall be 50 years and relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years in exceptional cases or as per the State Government norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students Minimum of 05 years of experience in teaching / research / industry of which at least 02 years shall be post Ph.D. is desirable.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 50 posts
Age Limit : Shall be 50 years and relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years in exceptional cases or as per the State Government norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E / B.Tech. and M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E. / M.Tech OR MCA with first class or equivalent with two years relevant experience.
