Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR, The following vacancies shall be filled purely on adhoc basis under Non-Institutional adhoc project “Bioinformatics in ICMR Institutes” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research at Vector Control Research Centre, Puducherry, to be renewed annually and filled through Walk-in-Interview. post : Scientist, Technical Assistant, Research Assistant, Multi Tasking Staff

1. Scientist-C (Non-Medical) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 39,960/- p.m. + HRA as admissible Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E. / B. Tech. Degree in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology from a recognized University with 6 years experience in the relevant field OR First class Master’s Degree and Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics/ OR First class Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology from a recognized University with 4 years R & D experience in the related subjects as mentioned above OR Second class Master’s Degree + Ph.D. in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology from a recognized University 04 years research experience in bio-medical subjects.

2. Scientist-B (Non-Medical) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,800/- p.m. + HRA as admissible Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University with two years experience OR First Class M.Sc. Degree in Computer Science / Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from a recognized
University OR Second Class M.Sc. + Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science / Second Class M.C.A. + Ph.D. Degree in Computer Applications from a recognized University.

3. Technical Assistant (Research Assistant) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 24,300/- p.m. + HRA as admissible Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three years Bachelor Degree in Life Science from a recognized University with a Diploma / Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology of one year duration/one year experience in the lower scale.

4. Multi Tasking Staff :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 25 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12,600/- p.m. + HRA as admissible Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : High School / Matriculation / Equivalent from a recognized Board.
