National Health Mission Tripura, NHM Tripura, Walk-in-interview will be held for filling up the following vacant posts on Contractual fixed pay basis under the State Health & Family Welfare Society (Blindness),NHM Tripura. The engagement will be for 11 (eleven) months initially, which may be extended based on the performance of the employees. post : Ophthalmic Surgeon, Ophthalmic Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Eye Donation Counselor
1. Ophthalmic Surgeon :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 62 years as on 14.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 60,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.S / M.D in ophthalmology (MCI recognized) with at least 1 year of experience after PG degree has been obtained.
Desirable : a) Trained in performing ECCE pc IOL and SICS. b) Experience and the ability to work in district level hospitals.

2. Ophthalmic Assistant :
No of post : 30 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 45 years as on 14.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate degree in Sociology / Social work / arts / Science recognized by respective university.
Desirable : a) Excellent communication skills. b) Familiarity with computer and internet use. c) Experience in health communication and / counseling.

3. Eye Donation Counselor :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 45 years as on 14.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Two years Diploma course in Optometry or trained as a Ophthalmic Assistant in any of the recognized Government Hospitals as per guide line of NPCB.
Desirable : Familiarity with computer and internet use.

4. Data Entry Operator :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 30 years as on 14.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with minimum 1 (one) year Diploma in computer application.
