This engagement will be purely on temporary basis and will carry a consolidated pay as detailed below. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category with the specified qualifications can report for the walk in interview at their own expenses in the office of the National Institute of Technology Calicut as per the schedule given below along with all certificates and portfolios in original and copy. Architecture-01 post (ST), Civil Engineering-02 posts, Chemical Engineering-01 post (ST), Electrical and Electronics Engineering-01 post (SC), Mathematics-01 post (ST), Physics-02 posts (ST-1, SC-1)

1. Adhoc Faculty (Lecturer) :
No of post : 01 post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Tech programs in a Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Minimum Qualification M. Tech or equivalent after a professional Bachelors Degree of 4
or more years duration.

2. For BArch program :
No of post : 01 post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum qualification: MTech/MArch/Masters in Town Planning or equivalent after a Professional Bachelors Degree of 4 or more years duration.

3. For Mathematics and Physics :
No of post : 01 post
Scale of Pay : i. Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated. For PhD/ MPhill/NET. ii. Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated For Masters Degree.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD in the appropriate discipline. If candidates with PhD are not available /not found suitable, Masters Degree holders with MPhill / NET or equivalent will be considered.
