National Physical Laboratory, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, CSIR, desires to engage of “Data Entry Operator” and “Help Desk Facilitator” on purely temporary basis on contract for a period of 6 months for work relating to the implementation of ERP Applications at NPL, New Delhi under project “Enterprise Resource Planning Solutions”. post : Data Entry Operator, Help Desk Facilitators

1. Data Entry Operator :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Maximum age 28 years as on 13.08.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000/- (Rs. Fourteen thousand) per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with 2 years Diploma in Computer Science or Equivalent with Knowledge of Computer Applications / Office Automation and typing skills (40 words per minute) One year experience in working with Excel, web software application testing and database.

2. Help Desk Facilitators :
No of post : 05 posts
Age Limit : Maximum age 25 years as on 13.08.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three years IT Diploma holders / GNIIT diploma holders Experience in web application defects management & database. Mode of Selection: – In case a large number of candidates turn up, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of criteria adopted by the screening committee in terms of weightage(s) to the educational qualification(s) and the work experience followed by computer skill test/interview by a duly constituted Committee. The select panel so prepared will be utilized for engagement as and when requirement arises. Relaxation of age for SC/ST/PH/OBC and women will be applicable as per GOI instructions.
