Directorate of Mines & Geology, DMG, Government of Goa is interested in making appointments for the following posts in Directorate of Mines & Geology purely on Contract basis for a period of 12 months.

1. Field Surveyor :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) S.S.C. or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects. (ii) Diploma in Civil Engineering with Surveying as one of the subjects. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
DESIRABLE :- Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Technical Assistant :
No of post : 13 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology.
DESIRABLE :- Diploma in Mining Engineering from any recognized University or Institute.
Date and Time of walk-in-interview : Place of Interview in Office of the Director of Mines and Geology, Ground Floor, Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji-Goa on 01.08.2014 from 10:00 AM. to 11:00 AM.

3. Lower Divisional Clerk :
No of post : 07 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. (ii) Speed of 30 words per minute in typewriting in English. (iii) Should be computer literate. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
DESIRABLE :- Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Assistant Geologist :
No of post : 10 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 27,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) M.Sc. Degree in Geology from a recognized University OR Diploma in Allied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhandbad or its equivalent. (ii) 03 years experience in the field.
DESIRABLE :- Knowledge of Konkani and / or Marathi.

in Office of the Secretary (Mines), 3rd floor, Secreteriat, Porvorim, Goa on 11.08.2014 from 10:00 AM. to 11:00 AM.
