National Institute of Virology, NIV, The following vacancies shall be filled purely on temporary basis at renewable annually under Non-Institutional ad-hoc projects to be filled in through Walk-in Interview.

1. Lower Divisional Clerk (Typist-Cum-Clerk) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Below 27 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. 12th Class 2. Typing Speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on manual typewriter. OR 3. Typing Speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.   Knowledge of computer applications. 2. Preferably MS-CIT.

2. Scientist B (Medical) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Below 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52,500/- + HRA per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. MBBS Degree. 2. Two years experience in the related subjects after obtaining essential qualifications. 1. MD in PSM/MPH 2. Diploma in Public Health. 3. Experience in the management of project on surveillance of viral disease (s). 4. Knowledge of Computer applications.

3. Senior Research Fellow (Medical) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Below 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MVSc degree. 1. Experience in Primate handling. 2. Experience of working in BSL-3, 3. Knowledge of computer applications for analysis & publication purpose.

4. Senior Research Fellow (Non-Medical) :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Below 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Life Sciences 1. Research work experience in the area of Animal Tissue culture / Virology / Serology / handling infectious agents, samples. 2. Knowledge of computer applications for analysis, report writing & publication purpose.

5. Junior Research Fellow (Non Medical) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Below 28 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,000/- + HRA per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Life Sciences 1. Research work experience in the area of Animal Tissue culture / Virology / Serology / handling infectious agents, samples. 2. Knowledge of computer applications for analysis, report writing & publication purpose.
