CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, CSMCRI, walk-in-interview invited in this Institute, With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda & chlorine. Besides, salt is used in food processing industries, such as fish curing, meat packing, dairy products and fruit and vegetable canning. post : Project JRF Fellow, Project Assistant II and III

1. Project Fellow :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 28 years as on the date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks with NET Qualified (CSIR-UGC JRF or equivalent) as per HRDG guidelines.

2. Project Assistant II :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 28 years as on the date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Between Rs. 12000 to Rs. 14000/- per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks with LS / GATE (Fresh),

3. Project Assistant III :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 32 years as on the date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Between Rs. 14000 to Rs. 16000/- per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks and two years’ experience and with LS/GATE.

Note Qualification : Candidates should be M.Sc Chemistry (Physical / Inorganic / Organic / Analytical / Materials / Industrial / Polymer / General / Equivalent with Chemistry as the main subject at Masters Level)
