Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained. IICB is one of the major institutes in India which initiated, right from its inception, multidisciplinary concerted efforts for conducting basic research on infectious diseases, specifically leishmaniasis and cholera, along with the development of technologies for the diagnosis, immunoprophylaxis, and chemotherapy of the diseases. walk-in-interview to be held Venue: New Conference Room on 05.09.2013 from 11.30 a.m. post : Project Fellow
Project Fellow : “Man as a Superorganism – Understanding the Human Microbiome(HUM) in CSIR”.

Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years.
Scale of Pay : Stipend Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA as per admissible.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc in Bioinformatics with at least 55% marks or B.Tech in Biotechnology with valid GATE or B.Pharm with valid GATE Desirable Experience An exposure to computational analysis of genome sequence will be preferred.
