The WII wishes to through a walk-in-interview on Friday, 6th December 2013. post : Research personnel, Research Associate, Project Biologists, Project Sociologist, Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow

1. Research personnel :
No of post : 11 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 40 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- consolidated per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. Degree in Wildlife Science / Zoology / Forestry / Veterinary Science from a recognized University. Candidate should possess adequate experience in basic wildlife techniques and conversant with analytical approaches of ecological data. Preference will be given to candidates with field research experience on large carnivores. Knowledge on population ecology, habitat use and human-carnivore conflict with the use of bio-telemetry is preferred.

2. Research Associate :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 40 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- consolidated per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. Degree in Wildlife Science / Zoology / Forestry / Veterinary Science from a recognized University.

3. Project Biologists :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ Degree in Zoology/Botany/Life Science / Wildlife Science / Forestry / Environ-mental Science / Social Sciences relevant to studies in human dimensions aspect of wildlife conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

4. Project Sociologist :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ Degree in Zoology / Botany / Life Science / Wildlife Science / Forestry / Environ-mental Science / Social Sciences relevant to studies in human dimensions aspect of wildlife conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

5. Senior Research Fellow :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 32 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- consolidated per month. and Rs. 18,000/- in case of NET qualified candidate(s) for Research Fellows (UGC/CSIR).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science / Statistics / Life Science / Forestry / Environmental Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University with a minimum of two years research experience after Masters’ Degree.

6. Junior Research Fellows :
No of post : 06 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 2nd December 2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- consolidated per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Biology / Zoology / Forestry/ Botany with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
