ICAR Research Complex for Easter Region, Research Centre, Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate/Senior Research Fellow under NICRA projects at ICAR Research Complex for Easter Region, Research Centre, Ranchi.

1. Research Associate :
No of post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Ag) in Entomology or M.Sc, Zoology / Botany / Forestry OR Master in Computer Science/ MCA, with two years of experience in relevant field Two years experience in the field of agricultural entomology / biology of insect pest of Crops.
Scale of Pay : Master Degree holder is Rs.23000 plus HRA as admissible & Ph.D. holder is Rs.24000/- plus HRA as admissible.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years for men and 45 years for women.

2. Senior Research Fellow :
No of post : 10 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Ag.) in Entomology / Plant Pathology / Horticulture / Agronomy / M.Sc. Forestry / M.Sc. (Botany) / M.Sc. (Zoology) Specialization in Fruit One year experience in Horticultural Crops/Entomology/ Plant Pathology.
Scale of Pay : Rs. Rs. 16000/- per month for 1st & 2nd year & Rs. 18000/- for 3rd year + HRA as admissible.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Interested candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview on 01-03-2011 at 10.00 am at ICAR RCER RC, Plandu, Ranchi with complete bio-data i.e., name, address, educational qualifications & experience, etc. with one recent passport size photograph with signature across the photograph along with attested copies of all the certificates and testimonials, at the time of reporting for the interview on the date of interview. Candidates are required to bring original certificates and testimonials at the time of interview. No Candidates will be allowed to report after 11.30 a.m.
