Indian Institute of Spices Research, IISR, Walk-in-Test cum Interview (based on test) for the selection of Research Associate (Bioinformatics) & Bioinformatic Trainees under the scheme ‘Distributed Information Sub Centre- DISC’ post : Research Associate
1. Research Associate :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : 40 years for Men & 45 years for Women as on date of Interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22000/- per month + HRA (higher pay upto Rs. 24000/- can be paid depending on the qualifications and experience.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctorate degree in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Biochemistry with experitse in Bioinformatics as evidenced by publications OR Three years research experience after MVSc / M Pharm / ME / M Tech with Bioinformatics Specialization.
Desirable : Experience in handling NGS data Programming skills in Python / Bioperl.
2. Bioinformatics Trainee :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : 30 years for Men & 35 years for Women as on date of Interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs: 5000/- per month (Consolidated).
Essential Qualification & Experience : A High First Class in M.Sc. Bioinformatics.
