Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, THSTI, HIV Vaccine Translational Research (HVTR) laboratory, a collaborative effort of Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) and International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), USA to accelerate and advance HIV vaccine research and development. The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India) has established the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institution, as a part of the inter disciplinary Health Biotech Science Cluster, in the National Capital Region. The institution is designed to be a dynamic and interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions. post : Research Associate

1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE at VIDRC :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22,000 to 24,000 (consolidated) + HRA.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD with research experience in protein chemistry and mass spectrometry is essential. In addition, working experience in animal tissue culture is desirable.

2. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE at DDRC :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22,000 to 24,000 (consolidated) + HRA.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD with research experience in studying mechanisms of adaptation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis within the host macrophage. Working experience with clinical isolates in a BSL-3 facility is a must, as also is experience with animal models of TB infection. Expertise in high-content screening methodologies and in exercises directed towards drug development against TB will be strongly preferred.

3. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE at HVTR :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22,000 to 24,000 (consolidated) + HRA.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. (in Life Sciences area) / MD with at least 3 years of research experience in the area of virology / microbiology / mammalian cell culture / molecular biology / immunology in the field of infectious diseases research. Working experience in the field of HIV research will be preferred.
