North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences, NEIGRIHMS, A walk in interview will be held on 07.01.2014 (Tuesday) for the posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure) & Junior Resident Doctors (One-year tenure) from 11:00 am onwards in the Administrative Block NEIGRIHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.

1. Senior Resident Doctors :
No of post : 46 Posts (l6-UR, 16-OBC & 09-SC, ST-01)
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 33 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 187501/- plus grade pay Rs. 6600/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.
Essential Qualification & Experience: i. Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by Mcr after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act). ii. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship / houseman ship in a recognized hospital. iii. Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
Desirable : Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.

2. Junior Resident Doctors :
No of post : 47 Posts (l7-UR, 20-OBC & 10-SC)
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600/- plus grade pay Rs. 5400/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Medical qualification included in the Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act). Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship. Candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

Eligible candidates are requested to present themselves for registration at 9:00 AM. to 10:30 AM. on 07.01.2014 (Tuesday) in the Administrative Block. They will have to fill in their particulars in the prescribed application format and enclosed all relevant documents duly attested viz DOB (10th certificate) / MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma, MCI Registration & Caste certificate if any. Candidates are also instructed to bring all original documents for verification.

Last Date of Application Submission : Registration at 9:00 AM. to 10:30 AM. on 07.01.2014 (Tuesday) in the Administrative Block.
