National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research, NCAOR, an Autonomous Society under the Minitry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India, is the nodal agency responsible for planning, co-ordinating and executing Scientific cruises onboard ORV Sagar Kanya. In connection with this, it is proposed to have Shipboard Assistants as part of implementation of cruises onboard Sagar Kanya. The post is purely temporary and on contract mode. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions are invited to attend a walk-in interview at NCAOR on 28.11.2013. post : Shipboard Assistant

Shipboard Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Should not exceed 30 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation to the employees of GOI and SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + ship allowance of Rs. 100/- per day during the stay onboard on Consolidate.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. in any branch of Science or Diploma in Engineering. Holding valid Passport.
Desirable : Experience in sailing onboard ship preferably research ships.
