Indian agricultural research Institute, IARI, Applications are invited for filling up the following temporary positions as held in this institute :
 
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :
In Project & PI, NRDC project entitled: “Multi-location trials to demonstrate the field efficacy of Bio-pesticidal Pusa NemaGel against insect pests and its effect on crop health and nematode fauna”
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc in Ag. Chemicals/Organic Chemistry.
Desirable: Experience in isolation of bioactive natural products, spectroscopy; and use of computer.
Scale of Pay : RS. 14,000/- plus H.R.A. as admissible under the rules.
Age Limit : Upto June 2011 or till the termination of project whichever is earlier.

2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :
In Project & PI, NAIP Project entitled “ Nature of interactions among the entomopathogenic nematodes, their bacterial symbionts and the insect hosts”. Reg No.NAIP/Comp-4/ C3005/2008-09.
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc in Nematology/Zoology/Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Life Sciences with specialization in Entomopathogenic Nematodes.
Desirable: Experience in techniques related to Entomopathogenic nematodes.
Scale of Pay : RS. 12,000/- for first 2 years and 14,000/- from 3rd year onwards plus H.R.A. as admissible under the rules.
Age Limit : Upto March 2012 or till the termination of project whichever is earlier.
