Dr.B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, NIT, Walk-In-Interview for filling up the posts of Assistant Professor on contract basis for one semester or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier will be held on 25.05.2010 in the Conference Room of the Institute as per following schedule:-
 
i. Bio Technology : No of Post : 07 posts at 9.00 am
ii. Chemical Engineering : No of Post : 08 posts  at 9.30 am
iii. Civil Engineering : No of Post : 07 posts at 10.00 am
iv. Computer Science and Engineering : No of Post : 08 posts at 10.30 am.
v. Electronics and Communication Engineering : No of Post : 06 posts at 11.00 am.
vi. Instrumentation and Control Engineering : No of Post : 08 posts at 12.00 noon.
vii. Industrial and Production Engineering : No of Post : 07 posts at 11.30 am.
viii. Mechanical Engineering : No of Post : 09 posts at 12.30 pm.
ix. Textile Technology : No of Post : 02 posts at 02.15 pm
x. Physics : No of Post : 02 posts at 02 at 2.30 pm
xi. Chemistry : No of Post : 02 posts at 03.00 pm
xii. Mathematics : No of Post : 03 posts at 03.30 pm
xiii. Workshop : No of Post : 02 posts
xiv. Textile : No of Post : 01 post
xv. Humanities & Management : No of Post : 03 posts (Mgmt-2, Psychology-1) at 4.00 pm.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candiate having M.Tech. / M. Phil./ MBA with first division at Master’s and Bachelor’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology / Science/ Management may attend the interview alongwith biodata and testimonials. The candiates with Ph.D. degree will be preferred.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 6000/- per month.

Note : No TA/DA shall be given, Number of posts may vary, In Industrial & Production Engineering, candidates with basic degree of Mechanical Engineering, Production or Industrial Engineering are also eligible.
