National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited, NHPC, Engineers and Junior Engineers in Electrical discipline “On Fixed Tenure Basis” for strengthening & augmentation of Distribution and Sub-Transmission System and Rural Electrification works at Srinagar, Budgam, Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Leh & Kargil in the State of J&K. Walk-in-interview 23/04/2010 and 24/04/2010 from  09.30 am to 12.00 pm at NHPC Limited, House No. 100, Sector-9, Triukuta Nagar, Jammu – 180012 (J&K).
 
1. Engineer :
Essential Qualification : BE/B.Tech. Degree/AMIE in Electrical from a recognized University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 55% Marks or equivalent grade.
Scale of Pay : consolidated remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper Age limit is 30 years as on 31.03.2010.

2. Junior Engineer :
Essential Qualification : Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized polytechnic with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Scale of Pay : consolidated remuneration of Rs. 8,000/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper Age limit is 30 years as on 31.03.2010.

MEDICAL FITNESS ;
Appointment will be subject to candidate being found medically fit by the Company’s Medical Officer or Government Medical Officer.

The candidate has to bring these four printouts dully filled in along with necessary supporting documents duly attested by Gazetted officer Selection shall be made through Personal Interview. Dated on 23.04.2010 & 24.04.2010 at NHPC Limited, House No. 100, Sector-9, Trikuta nagar, Jammu (J&K), PIN-180012. Candidates shall report for interview between 09.30 A.M. to 12.00 P.M.
