Steel Authority of India Limited, SAIL, a Maharatna PSU, is India’s largest steel producer. Durgapur Steel Plant, an integrated steel plant under SAIL, is located at Durgapur, West Bengal. In its self-managed township with modern amenities, DSP has a 590 bedded hospital equipped with latest diagnostic facilities. It caters to employees and their families and is a premier hospital in the vicinity. The hospital will be shortly commissioning modern new OT complex with surgical ICU. The institution has well equipped modern Intensive Care and Dialysis Unit. DSP seeks to induct bright Doctors as detailed below:
 
1. Specialist (Intensive Care) ME-3 :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS/DNB with Fellowship: Training in Critical Care Medicine 03 yrs. post MD qualification.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.

2. Specialist (Nephrology) ME-3 :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : DM/DNB Nephrology 3 yrs. post MD qualification.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.

3. Specialist (Radiology) ME-3 :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD in Radiology/ Radio diagnosis.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.

4. Specialist (Orthopaedics) ME-3 :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MS in Orthopaedics 3 yrs. post MS qualification Medicine 03 yrs. post MD qualification.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.

5. Specialist (Ophthalmology) ME-3 :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MS in Ophthalmology 3 yrs. post MS qualification, especially in Vitreo Retinal Unit.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.

6. Specialist (Anesthesia)  ME-3 :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD in Anesthesia 3 yrs. post MD qualification.
Scale of Pay : ME-3 Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.06.2010.

Fees : A Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 250/-(Rupees two hundred fifty only) (No fee will be charged for SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn in favour of SAIL A/C Durgapur Steel Plant payable at Durgapur & drawn on State Bank of India only.
