National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT, Established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is a premier Institute of Fashion Business Education with 15 Campuses located across India. The Institute is having excellent facilities for Fashion Business Education and Research in Design, Management and Technology and is looking for personnel of high caliber and potential for the following posts to be filled by direct recruitment on contract basis in NIFT Kolkata Centre. post : Assistant warden, Lab Assistant

1. Assistant warden (For female) :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Between 30 to 45 Years (Maximum age limit may be relaxed up to Five years in case of NIFT employees and deserving candidates possessing higher educational qualifications / experience)
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate from a recognized University.
Desirable : One year experience as Asst. Warden or in any analogous post in Government educational Institutions/ PSUs /Autonomous Bodies/Reputed institutions.

2. Lab Assistant (Knitwear Design) :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Between 21 to 40 Years (Maximum age limit may be relaxed upto Five years in case of NIFT employees and deserving candidates possessing higher educational qualifications / experience)
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with Diploma in Knitting Technology and minimum 1 year experience in Knitting Technology OR Class 10 with Diploma / Certificate of 3 years duration in Sewing from Govt./ Board of Technical education recognized Institute with 5 years experience in Sewing work.
