The Applications are invited from male Indian nationals possessing educational qualifications and age, as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Yantriks, in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union
Name of the Post: Yantriks
Scale of Pay:
(a) Rs 5200 –20200 along with Rs 2400 Grade Pay and In addition Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance and other liberal allowances will be admissible.
(b) Other benefits: Free ration, free clothing, free medical treatment for self and family including dependent parents.
(c) Accommodation: Government accommodation for self & family on nominal licence fee.
(d) Leave: 45 days Earned leave and 08 days Casual leave every year with leave travel concession for self, family and dependent parents as per Govt. rules.
(e) Group Insurance: An insurance cover of Rs.10 lakhs at a premium of Rs.1000/- per month.
(f) Contributory Pension Scheme and Gratuity on retirement.
(g) Promotion prospects for promotion to the officer rank subject to suitability and performance.
(h) Canteen and various loan facilities.
Qualification: Matriculation with three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering recognised by AICTE, Age : Born between 01 January 87 and 01 January 91.
Age: Born between 01 Jul 87 to 01 Jul 91. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)

Attested copies (not returnable) of certificates of age, educational qualifications including statements of marks, caste certificate (if SC, ST, OBC), NCC, sports are to be tagged with the application. One self-addressed unstamped envelope of size 25X10 cms should be attached with the application.
