Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Well known IIT Bhubaneswar invites applications for faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the following disciplines Posts: 
 
Disciplines : Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics, English, Psychology)
Scale of Pay & Experience:
1. Professor: Pay Scale: Rs. 18400-500-22400/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees,  Experience:  At least 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which 5 years should be at the level of 2. Assistant Professor or 3 years as Associate Professor.
2. Associate Professor: Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-450-20000/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees, Experience:  At least 8 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
3. Assistant Professor :  Pay Scale: Rs. 12000-420-18300/-plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees,  Experience: At least 3 years teaching / research / industrial experience.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch and evidence of the ability to pursue independent high quality research.
