Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, HPPSC, Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) are invited from the desirous & eligible candidates for recruitment to various posts in various Departments of Himachal Pradesh Government.

1. Assistant Professor (CTVS) :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : 45 years and below.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400-67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Ch. C.T.S., 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.S. Surgery, or M.B.B.S. and 5 years direct course leading to M.Ch. C.T.S. Post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.

2. Assistant Professor (Anatomy) :
No of post : 03 posts
Age Limit : 45 years and below.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400-67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.

3. Assistant Professor (College Cadre) :
No of post : 98 posts in various subjects on contract basis.
Age Limit : 45 years and below.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400-67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.

4. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
No of post : 20 posts
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

5. Assistant Professor (Applied Sciences & Humanities)(English) :
No of post : 02 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55%, wherever the grading system is followed in Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from a Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University recognized by the Government of India.

6. Assistant Professor (Applied Sciences & Humanities) Mathematics :
No of post : 03 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55%, wherever the grading system is followed in Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from a Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University recognized by the Government of India.

7. Assistant Professor (Applied Sciences & Humanities) (Chemistry) :
No of post : 01 post on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55%, wherever the grading system is followed in Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from a Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University recognized by the Government of India.

8. Assistant Professor (Applied Sciences & Humanities) (Physics) :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

10. Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering) :
No of post : 05 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Computer Engineering / its equivalent from an
Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State
Government.

11. Assistant Professor (Textile Engineering) :
No of post : 02 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Textile Engineering /its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

12. Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering) :
No of post : 04 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /its equivalent from an

13. Assistant Professor (Electronic & Communication Engineering) :
No of post : 10 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Electronic & Communication Engineering /its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

14. Lecturer Computer Engineering (Polytechnic) :
No of post : 02 posts on contract basis
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Computer Engineering / its equivalent from an
Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State
Government.

15. Workshop Superintendent (Polytechnic) :
No of post : 05 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post-Graduate/and Master’s
Degree in appropriate subject with first class or equivalent either in Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

16. Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000 to 13500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st class Master’s Degree in
appropriate Branch of Specialization in Pharmacy.
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

17. Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) :
No of post : 01 post (on contract basis)
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /its equivalent from an

18. Assistant Director of Factories (Chemical) :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Degree in Chemical
Engineering from any Institution/ Board/ University recognized by
State/ Central Government or its equivalent.
(b) Should have practical experience of at least 2 years in the
relevant field in a manufacturing workshop of either a public sector
undertaking.

19. Assistant Area Manager / Assistant Procurement Officer :
No of post : 01 post on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with at least 5 years experience in the field of procurement, distribution, personnel matters and maintenance of accounts of commercial concern or MBA with at least two years experience in commercial concern. Preference will be given to the candidates having additional qualification of MCA/BIT Computer.

20. Assistant Manager (MSU) : 
No of post : 01 post on contract basis.
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MBA with at least two years
experience in Pharma sector. Preference will be given to the
candidates having MCA/BIT qualification in addition to essential
qualification.

21. Senior Planning Draughtsman :
No of post : 01 post on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Tech Degree in Urban/ City/ Town / Regional Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or from an Institute duly recognized by the Central/ H.P. Government.

22. District Public Relations Officer / Information Officer :
No of post : 03 posts on contract basis.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15300/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication or Bachelor of Public Relations or Bachelor of Public Relations & Advertising from a recognized University Or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, or post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Public Relations or post graduate / Diploma in Public Relations & Advertising from a recognized University. (ii) Three years professional experience in Public Relations / Journalism / Mass communication in any Govt. Department / Public Sector Undertakings and Newspaper / Electronic Media organization of standing gained after obtaining essential educational qualifications.

23. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :

Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

24. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.

25. Assistant Engineer (IT) :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical or its equivalent from an Institution /
University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.
